October 13-22, 2023

Alone in a New York apartment, the god of comedy is melancholy, and he wants everyone to know it.

Though bound to find a new person to inspire and complete an unfinished story, Sebastian, the last remaining Greek Muse, mourns the passing of his latest instrument and friend, amusing himself by successfully spooking, pranking, and sabotaging every opportunity for a potential replacement. Until Nikki.

Driven by her own personal demons, Nikki stubbornly battles with Sebastian for mastery of the apartment. Hilarity ensues with their feud, an over-involved landlord, well-intentioned fiancé, and some good old-fashioned police involvement.

Indianapolis-based playwright, Megan Ann Jacobs cleverly employs the ancient art of comedy, while leading us to live with the past and move forward.

Moon Over Buffalo

December 8 - 17, 2023

It’s the summer of 1953, and George and Charlotte Hay, formerly a couple of Broadway stars, have taken their run-down touring company to Buffalo, New York. They intend to run Cyrano de Bergerac and Noel Coward's Private Lives, when they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: talent scout, Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee!

With a plethora of pratfalls, slamming doors aplenty, and backstage shenanigans, Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo is a fast-paced, hilarious screwball comedy in the old tradition, a throwback farce, a valentine to the stage, and the larger-than-life personalities that inhabit the world of the theatre.

Violet - Musical

March 1-10, 2024

With a ticket, a suitcase, and a heart full of expectation, Violet Karl waits for a Greyhound bus in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. It is September 4, 1964, the early days of the Civil Rights Movement.

Violet has a large scar on her face due to a childhood accident, and having run out of all medical options, she now pins all her hopes on traveling for a miracle cure from a famous TV preacher.

On her journey of self-discovery, she meets two soldiers, Flick and Monty. As they travel on together, Violet learns the true meaning of beauty, love, and what it means to be an outsider.

Based on The Ugliest Pilgrim By Doris Betts, Violet takes a musical approach to the timeless topics of beauty and self-image, and transports audiences through number of styles, from gospel and bluegrass to Memphis blues.

August 16-25, 2024

A lawyer hires an actor to tutor him in recounting to family and friends a story that has long troubled him concerning events that transpired when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. There he caught sight of the woman in black, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals, for she is a specter who haunts the neighborhood where her illegitimate child was accidentally killed.

Anyone who sees her dies! The lawyer has invited some friends to watch as he and the actor recreate the events of that dark and stormy night. A classic of the genre.
