Carmel Community Players (CCP) is seeking director submissions for the remainder of 2024!

CCP will select submissions for the Sep/Oct and Nov/Dec time frame in 2024. Comedies, dramas, and musicals will be considered for suitability for our audience demographic and venues. We hope to see a wide variety of submissions including those new to CCP. We hope to engage a diverse group of directors, staff, and actors. Most of our shows will be performed at the Cat in Carmel, which is an intimate venue with a stage 25’ across and 19’ deep. You may submit any play or musical you wish; however, please keep in mind the facilities and stage as well as the marketability of your submission. New pieces as well as old favorites are strongly encouraged. The Nov/Dec time welcomes a holiday-themed production, but is not required. Any Christmas or holiday-themed shows must be age-appropriate and family friendly.

To be considered for a production for 2024, please submit your form to hcjanowicz@gmail.com by Thanksgiving (November 23rd, 2023). Submissions for 2025 will be requested at a later date.

The CCP selection committee will review each submission. The committee will make their decisions based on the balance of the season, the qualifications of the director, the dates available, and how the scripts fit with our audiences and vision for the season. Once the committee has selected the shows, every director will be notified. The 2024-2025 season will be publicly announced in Spring 2024.
